Once we have your input, our team will create a detailed itinerary proposal for you. This will include suggested services and recommended locations tailored to your preferences. If you’d like to involve your trusted travel agent, just let us know. We are happy to collaborate with them to plan your trip.

Our goal is to help you experience the very best of Italy. We are always available to answer your questions and guide you every step of the way. You can adjust your travel plans as many times as needed to craft your perfect itinerary. We work hard to bring your vision to life while strictly respecting your budget. If you prefer, we can even schedule a video call to review the details together and ensure every part of your trip is exactly how you want it.
STEP N°4
Booking Confirmation
Once your itinerary and quote are finalized, we require an email from you accepting and confirming the trip to proceed with booking all services.
Confirmation requires a 40% deposit. The remaining balance is due one month before your arrival.
For bookings made more than five months in advance, or for higher-value trips, a second deposit of 20% may be required. In this case, the final payment due one month before arrival will be 40% instead of 60%.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel your trip up to 30 days before your scheduled arrival in Italy, we will issue a travel voucher for the amount you have paid. This will be issued after deducting any non-refundable costs for prepaid services, which we will verify with our providers.
This voucher is valid for two years and can be applied to a future booking with Italy Trails.
STEP N°5
Upon your arrival, a member of our team will greet you and provide you with all your travel documents and accessories. Even when you are traveling independently, you are never alone. Our assistance service is always just a phone call away for any needs that may arise during your trip.
For the best experience, we recommend planning your trip at least five months in advance. This is especially important during our busy season from May through September.
While we can certainly arrange trips on shorter notice, booking early ensures you secure rooms at our favorite hotels and time with our top guides. We want nothing but the best for you. Giving us plenty of time to plan helps us guarantee exactly that.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance when you book your trip. This protects your investment if you need to cancel unexpectedly. It also gives you valuable peace of mind in the rare event of an injury or lost belongings during your travels.
